Mardy Fish knows he would have had no chance one year ago against John Isner and the worst heat he has endured on the court. Fish has lost 30 pounds since having knee surgery last year, and he credits his newly gained fitness for his winning streak which continued Sunday when he beat John Isner 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) in the finals of the Atlanta Tennis Championships.

Chakvetadze broke twice in each set against Larsson, who was playing in her first final and who missed all three break-point chances in the second set.
